Peru's Land and Climate
In Peru, there are deserts, jungles, coastal cities, and mountain villages. The highest point in PEru is in Nevado Huascaren, at 6,768 meters. The lowest point in Peru is at the Pacific Ocean, at 0 meters. Peru covers 496,193 square miles. Peru' s climate differs throughout its regions, and through the time of year. The average yearly temperature for all of Peru is about 76˚F.
